UC Irvine seeks Postdoctoral Scholars for the 2026-27 Academic Year in the Department of Chemistry. Appointments are initially two years, with renewal contingent on funding and performance. Applications from recent Ph.D.

The Department of Chemistry anticipates openings for Postdoctoral Scholars throughout the 2026-27 Academic Year. Applications are being sought from recent Ph.D. graduates with backgrounds in various areas of Chemistry or a related field (degree date of 2022 or later). This is an ongoing recruitment. Positions are dependent on extramural funding and research contracts of individual Principal Investigators. Initial appointments are for two years and renewal will be dependent on availability of support. Salary will be based on University of California guidelines for the Postdoctoral Scholars and is commensurate with experience.
