Job summary

The Transformation Science Program at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability seeks a postdoctoral fellow with deep knowledge of the transformation science and sustainability transitions literatures to help advance the intellectual core of the Transformation Science Program.

You will work with the program leads to expand knowledge of the transformation science and sustainability transitions literatures, contribute to the program’s intellectual leadership, and co-author framework-setting

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field and strong knowledge of transformation science and sustainability transitions.
• Ability to analyze diverse scholarship across boundaries and contribute to a research agenda.

Responsibilities

• Work with the program leads to expand knowledge of transformation science and sustainability transitions literature across disciplinary boundaries.
• Help develop and refine the program’s research agenda and contribute to intellectual leadership.
• Co-author and co-develop high-impact scholarly outputs that establish the program’s position.
• Conduct comparative literature analyses to strengthen the evidence base.
• Support development of funding plans and proposals and translate concepts into fundable projects.
• Contribute to convenings/workshops and partner development with scholars, practitioners, and funders.
• Shape an independent line of inquiry that advances the program’s research agenda.
