Postdoctoral Scholar - Teaching Fellow in the Department of Economics

Location: Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, Los Angeles, California

The Department of Economics at the University of Southern California invites applications for a one-year Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship in Economics, starting Fall 2025. The position is renewable for a second year, subject to approval.

Responsibilities:
  1. Teach Microeconomics and Macroeconomics at introductory and intermediate levels.
  2. Participate in efforts to enhance undergraduate instruction through innovative pedagogical methods.
  3. Assist in designing approaches to measure and track learning outcomes.
  4. Engage in departmental and campus intellectual activities.
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. received within the last three years or by August 16, 2025.
Compensation:

Stipend of $70,000 plus benefits.
