Job summary

The Ohio State University BMI lab seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to advance statistical and computational methods for designing and analyzing spatial multi-omics experiments. Work will focus on localizing senescent cells in aging/diseased lungs and improving spatial transcriptomics and spatial proteomics study design.

Qualifications

PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or related field.
Strong interest or background in bioinformatics, cancer genomics, or statistical genetics.
Experience with AI/ML, high-dimensional data analysis, or multi-omics integration is highly valued.
Commitment to collaborative, rigorous, and innovative research.

Responsibilities

Develop novel statistical and computational approaches for spatial multi-omics experiments.
Lead analyses of single-cell and spatial transcriptomics in aging and diseased lungs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in immunology, genomics, oncology, and AI/ML.
Disseminate findings through high-impact publications and conferences.
