The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Center for Biostatistics to pursue specialized research training and experience under a Center-affiliated mentor. The role involves developing and applying longitudinal, survival, and joint longitudinal-survival models to investigate disease progression and predict clinically relevant outcomes.

Formación

• PhD in biostatistics or equivalent doctoral degree in statistics, epidemiology, biomedical informatics, or related quantitative discipline.
• Demonstrated data analysis proficiency and statistical expertise.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in diverse teams and conduct independent research with a productive trajectory.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and apply longitudinal, survival, and joint longitudinal-survival models to study disease progression.
• Build reproducible pipelines that integrate clinical, genomic, molecular, and other data from EHRs, cancer registries, cohorts, and multi-omics studies.
• Develop, interpret, and validate statistical and machine-learning models for risk stratification, biomarker discovery, and personalized cancer prevention.
• Attend research seminars; contribute to manuscript preparation and support grant applications; perform additional duties as assigned.
