Job summary

The Ohio State University invites applications for a Post Doctoral Scholar in Quantum Networking within the Center for Quantum Information Science and Engineering (CQISE). The ideal candidate will collaborate across math, physics, chemistry, electrical and computer engineering, materials science and engineering, or computer science and engineering, and be co-advised by faculty from multiple disciplines.

This is a term position, in-person, with a start date in central Ohio.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantum-related field (math/physics/chem/EE/ME/CS).
• Experience in interdisciplinary research spanning two or more disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct original self-directed research in QISE
• Work on joint research projects in QISE with faculty mentors
• Publication of research results
• Mentor other researchers (undergraduate, graduate, and some postdoctoral) and perform outreach in QISE
• Dissemination of research by presentation of results at national/international conferences and seminars
