Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field by appointment.
• Strong experimental research background and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Co-authorship of peer‑reviewed publications or arXiv preprints required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experimental research on superconducting qubits and related circuits.
• Plan, implement, and troubleshoot cryogenic microwave experiments and measurements.
• Document and publish research results in peer‑reviewed journals and at meetings.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate researchers in the group and institute.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on funded projects.
• Support other R&D activities within externally funded programs.
