Job Description and Position Requirements:

This position is in the Department of Neurosurgery at Penn State College of Medicine, Hershey, PA. The lab focuses on neurovascular injury and vascular dementia, supported by NIH grants. The candidate should have proficiency in tissue harvesting, RNA and protein extraction, PCR, RT-qPCR, western blotting, and immunohistochemistry. Experience with mouse models and neurobehavioral testing is preferred. Responsibilities include manuscript drafting and training staff. Located at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, near major cities.

Qualifications:

PhD (or MD) in neuroscience or a related field. Proficiency in English is required.
