JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:

The Eberly College of Science, Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University, is seeking to fill two Postdoctoral Scholar positions in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics. The successful candidates will participate in Prof. Cui-Zu Chang's research group to investigate quantum phenomena in molecular beam epitaxy (MBE)-grown films/heterostructures. The project involves MBE growth, ARPES, STM/S, nanoscale device fabrication, mechanical exfoliation, and electrical transport measurements. Candidates should have experience in at least one of these areas.

Education and Experience: A Ph.D. in Physics or related fields is required. Applications should be submitted electronically, including a cover letter, CV, and research statement. Candidates should arrange for three reference letters to be sent to physicsapply@psu.edu, indicating the job number in the subject line.

Additional Information: These are term appointments funded for one year, with the possibility of renewal. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until suitable candidates are found.
