A postdoctoral position is immediately available within Dr. Andrew Holbrook's research group at the Department of Biostatistics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). We are seeking a creative and collaborative individual interested in working at the intersection of *Diffusion Models*, *Bayesian Inference* and *Probabilistic Programming Languages*.
The successful candidate will benefit from a supportive lab environment and the highly collaborative UCLA community.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • (1) In this role, the appointee will actively lead multiple projects and immerse themself at one of the world's leading research institutions, while learning skills in statistics, deep learning and AI;
  • (2) The appointee will also have the opportunity to strengthen their leadership and collaboration skills by interacting with graduate students, writing fellowship applications, and assisting with manuscript preparation.
Position Qualifications
  • (1) A recent doctorate degree in the field of statistics, computer science, applied math, or related disciplines;
  • (2) Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • (3) Strong data science background with Python and diffusion model experience.
