Qualifications

PhD, MD, or equivalent advanced degree in reproductive biology, cell or molecular biology, immunology, physiology, bioengineering, or related field.
Hands-on experience with mammalian tissue culture including sterile technique.
Proficiency in core molecular biology assays and data interpretation.
Ability to work independently and drive a project forward.
Evidence of initiative, collaboration, and mentoring.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Commitment to women's health and translational research.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments using primary human reproductive tract tissue and patient-derived organoid models.
Maintain and expand primary and organoid culture systems.
Perform core molecular assays and sample preparation for bulk, single-cell, and spatial transcriptomics.
Execute tissue-based imaging including IHC/immunofluorescence and multiplexed platforms.
Analyze data with computational collaborators and interpret results.
Document protocols and contribute to SOPs.
Coordinate with clinical teams on tissue acquisition per IRB protocols.
Prepare figures and presentations; present at meetings.
Contribute to grants and career development funding.
Mentor REI fellows, residents, students, and undergraduates.
