Job summary

Synthires is seeking experienced STEM and scientific experts to support an AI training project focused on technical problem-solving, scientific reasoning, data analysis, and Python-based workflows. This is a coding-heavy role where candidates will use Python and coding agents in their workflow to solve, review, and validate challenging problems and AI-generated solutions.

Expertise in at least one STEM discipline is sufficient; applicants are not expected to cover every field.

Required Qualifications

• Strong scientific, mathematical, or quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate assumptions, constraints, edge cases, and sources of error.
• Experience validating, reviewing, or troubleshooting technical work.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scientific Python tools such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, SymPy, or Jupyter.
• Background in academic research, industry, teaching, engineering, or independent technical work.
• Experience evaluating AI-generated technical or scientific outputs.

Compensation

• Competitive compensation of $80–$150/hour.
• Output-based compensation, with payment per task that meets project specifications.
• Approximately 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
• Experts can choose their working hours and days, including weekends.
