• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field is required.
• Experience with high temperature hydrothermal single crystal growth and X-ray diffraction characterization is required.

Responsibilities

• Grow and characterize single crystals using high temperature hydrothermal methods (500–700°C, >200 kPa).
• Perform single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction analyses.
• Assist in collecting and overseeing magnetic data for the samples.
• Design and execute experiments to accomplish project goals.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to junior group members.
