The Purdue Applied Research Institute, LLC (PARI) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Microelectronics to support microelectronics-focused studies, technical analyses, and workforce development at the PARI Microelectronics Lab (PML) on the Purdue University campus in West Lafayette, Indiana.

The role emphasizes mentoring undergraduate researchers, collaborating with Purdue faculty, government personnel, and industry partners, and contributing to development of new research concepts

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, materials engineering, applied physics, mechanical engineering, or closely related technical discipline.
• Deep research background in microelectronics (analog, mixed-signal, digital, RF/microwave, photonic IC design, modeling, test and characterization).
• Ability to independently research complex topics and develop technically sound conclusions.
• Ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate students and provide technical guidance.
• Strong written and oral technical communication; ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Conduct research and technical studies in microelectronics and related technology areas.
• Research and document emerging microelectronics technologies, capabilities, tools, processes, and approaches.
• Develop reports, presentations, recommendations, and other program deliverables.
• Mentor undergraduate students and apprentices in microelectronics projects.
• Collaborate with Purdue faculty, PARI researchers, government personnel, and industry partners.
• Assist students in translating theory into disciplined engineering practice and communication of results.
• Participate in technical reviews, project planning, and cross-PML program discussions.
• Contribute to new research concepts, approaches, and proposals for PML’s portfolio.
