Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas invites applications for a postdoctoral training position in the lab of W. Lee Kraus. We investigate signaling and gene regulation with emphasis on transcriptional control and chromatin dynamics. Candidates must hold a Ph.D.

and/or M.D. and have experience in gene regulation, genomics, or related fields. Strong publication record and expertise in NGS approaches such as RNA-seq or ChIP-seq are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD required; recent degree.
• Experience in gene regulation, genomics, and chromatin biology.
• Strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Responsibilities

• Lead innovative, high-impact projects in a collaborative, well-resourced environment.
• Apply diverse approaches including biochemistry, molecular biology, and genomics to study signaling and gene regulation.
• Prepare CVs, statements of research interests, and provide three references as part of the application.
