Responsibilities

• (75%) The Postdoctoral Researcher conducts research in mathematics of a nature and quality leading to the publication of papers in research journals or advanced-level books; maintains expertise in the field;
• (25%) teaches mathematics at all university levels in a manner consistent with departmental policy; and participates in other educational and professional activities of the department and university.

Required Qualifications

• A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the mathematical sciences or a closely related field.
• ABD candidates will be considered provided that the degree is conferred by August 15, 2027.

Preferred Qualifications

• Evidence of research excellence and a commitment to graduate and undergraduate education.
• Outstanding candidates in all fields of mathematics will be considered.

Salary

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
