Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow to join Dr. Fabio Demontis' group in the Developmental Neurobiology department. The lab uses mouse and Drosophila models to study muscle aging, proteostasis, and myokine signaling in aging and neurobiology.

Candidates with a Ph.D. and expertise in molecular, biochemical, and cell biology techniques are encouraged to apply; training in Drosophila neurobiology is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required or forthcoming; postdoc start should not have begun elsewhere.
• Experience with molecular, biochemical, and cell biological techniques.
• Drosophila neurobiology and tauopathy training preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration; strong drive to contribute to aging and neurobiology.
