The position is with the Fetal Center at UTHealth Houston.
The goal of this assignment is to conduct research related to improving outcomes after fetal surgery through improved diagnosis, refinement of procedures, and evaluating outcomes. Fetal intervention for conditions including twin-twin transfusion syndrome, fetal spina bifida, and other fetoscopic-based and needle-guided in-utero procedures. Activities will also include laboratory and animal research.

Position Summary:
Experience in Ob Gyn, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and/or Fetal Surgery is preferred. This biomedical postdoc position offers early-career researchers the chance to gain experience, develop independent research skills, and contribute to scientific knowledge.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Minimum Education: Doctoral/Terminal Degree
Physical Requirements: Occasionally exerts up to 20 pounds of force; frequently up to 10 pounds.
Security Sensitive: May contain positions subject to Texas Education Code 51.215.
Residency Requirement: Must reside and work in Texas.
