Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Abides by institutional health and safety policies (essential).
• Pursues research under supervision of a PI and develops independence.
• Receives training and performs duties contributing to investigational work including design and evaluation of results.
• Prepares and publishes scientific manuscripts under direction of PI.
• Develops lab skills, informatics, physics, and clinical research; progresses toward independence.
• Develops new ideas to promote current research and brings expertise to the program.
• Teaches and supervises students and projects as appropriate.
• Engages in collaborative meetings with other research groups and leads seminars.
• Identifies and corrects deficiencies in one’s performance.
• Pursues and secures independent funding near the end of the fellowship.
