The Vazquez‑Torres laboratory, located in the Department of Immunology and Microbiology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, is recruiting a motivated postdoctoral fellow to work on a project aimed to understand how prophages and metabolism facilitate interactions of Salmonella with mammalian hosts. The candidate should have expertise in microbiology, bacterial genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and murine models. Experience in bioinformatics and structural biology will be positively evaluated. Successful candidates will work with the principal investigator to develop the research project, submit F&A grants, and write manuscripts.
Onsite – the role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.
The starting salary range for this position has been established as $62,232 for a Postdoctoral with 0 years of experience, increasing incrementally with years of experience up to $75,564 for 7 or more years. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non‑exempt. The University provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions.
