Job summary

The Yang Laboratory at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to investigate genetic and molecular determinants of variability in treatment response in childhood cancer.

The role integrates multi-omics and computational analyses with experimental validation to advance precision medicine. You will collaborate with clinicians, statistical geneticists, and computational biologists, publish in top journals, and pursue postdoctoral fellowships

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in a biomedical field as listed.
• Strong record of peer‑reviewed publications.
• Knowledge in pharmacology, human genetics, functional genomics, genome editing, or animal models.
• Strong English communication, able to work independently and collaboratively.

• Lead an independent subproject and collaborate with clinicians, statistical geneticists and computational biologists.
• Publish high-quality peer-reviewed work and pursue postdoctoral fellowships and external funding opportunities.
