The Bettelli Lab at Benaroya Research Institute in Seattle invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to advance neuroimmunology studies related to multiple sclerosis. Qualifications

• PhD in immunology, neuroscience, molecular biology, or a related field is required.
• Strong background in flow cytometry, molecular biology techniques and data analysis.
• At least one first-author publication and 2 years or less of postdoctoral experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement neuroimmunology projects using in vitro and in vivo approaches.
• Work with mouse models of multiple sclerosis, tissue harvest, flow cytometry, FACS sorting, and immunohistochemistry.
• Perform scRNA sequencing and CRISPR gene editing; analyze results and maintain records.
• Prepare grant proposals and manuscripts; train and supervise junior staff.
• Collaborate with other lab members to advance research goals.
