Position Highlights

The R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy, Pharmacology and Toxicology Department seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate I for Dr. Xinglong Wang's lab. The Wang lab focuses on pathomechanisms of TDP-43 neurotoxicity and micochondrial dysfunction in neurodegeneration. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research and receive outstanding training.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and conduct research projects.

• Assist in routine laboratory management and maintaining lab equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. in neuroscience, Biology or related major. The successful candidate should have just completed their PhD, or be nearing completion of a PhD in these fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Peer-reviewed publication record and working experience in molecular biology and cell biology techniques are highly desirable.
• A background in the field of neuroscience is a plus.
