The UDC College of Arts & Sciences is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to investigate gait and balance issues in aging individuals. The Center for Biomechanical and Rehabilitation (CBRE) Laboratory at the University of the District of Columbia is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate with a research interest in gait and balance (namely falls) in aging individuals. This full‑time, one‑year position (with possibility of renewal) is a temporary/training role within a Department of Aging and Community Living (DACL) sponsored project regarding the Safe at Home (SAH) falls prevention program. The Associate will conduct experiments, analyze data, develop models, prepare manuscripts and presentations, assist the CBRE Lab PI with project reports, and support independent research activities. Remuneration will be competitive and based on qualifications.
Condition of Employment: This is a sponsored program appointment; duration is subject to grant fund availability.
