Job summary

The University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Associate in the Walczak Lab to support ongoing projects in stem cell biology and neurodegenerative disease modeling. The successful candidate will work with human iPSCs, perform basic molecular biology assays, and collaborate with other postdoctoral researchers and graduate students in a fast-paced research environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in biology, neuroscience, molecular biology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Familiarity with sterile technique and cell culture practices.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Culture and maintenance of human iPSCs under sterile conditions.
• Directed differentiation into neurons and/or glia.
• Basic molecular biology techniques (PCR, Western blotting, immunocytochemistry).
• Assisting with imaging, sample preparation, and data organization.
• Routine lab maintenance, inventory, and ordering supplies.
