Job summary

The Broad Institute's Getz Lab is seeking a postdoctoral computational analysis lead to drive spatial multiomics projects in cancer research. You will design and execute data analyses, develop new computational tools, and collaborate with clinicians and wet-lab scientists on multiple myeloma studies.

Qualifications

  • PhD in a quantitative field such as bioinformatics, CS, ML, or related discipline.
  • 0–1+ years post‑doc experience.
  • Experience with computational analysis, algorithm development, and statistics.
  • Experience analyzing spatial multi‑omics data; single-cell RNA-seq and WGS knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data analysis strategies for spatial multiomics projects.
  • Drive scientific vision and computational strategies.
  • Develop tools for novel data types.
  • Develop spatial/genomic methods to predict tumor outcomes and therapy response.
  • Create statistical models and present results.
  • Prepare reports and presentations; mentor juniors.
