Description

The Department invites applications for full-time Postdoctoral Fellow post(s) in Transport and Urban Geography.

Applicants should have/be (i) a Ph.D. degree in Geography, Urban Studies, or other related disciplines; (ii) demonstrated the ability to conduct independent scientific investigations and extensive research experience in big data and geographical analysis; and (iii) proficient in data analysis tools such as R, Python, and ArcGIS Pro.

The appointee(s) will be expected to conduct high-quality research on shared mobility and micromobility, transportation equity, traffic congestion, smart cities, or urban informatics in the context of the U.S. or China.

The appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing July 2024, renewable subject to good performance.
