Job summary

Andrew Herr to design experiments and interpret data, aiming to become an independent scientist. Responsibilities include executing experiments, recording results, presenting findings at meetings, and drafting scientific reports.

Qualifications

• PhD/MD or equivalent required.
• Experience with Cryo Electron microscopy or X-Ray Crystallography for structural analysis.
• Postdoctoral position focusing on protein structure and method development.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and record laboratory experiments to inform decisions affecting patient care.
• Develop skills to become an independent scientist with mentorship.
• Discuss insights with Faculty and provide recommendations and analysis.
• Present research at meetings, journal clubs, and seminars.
• Draft, write, and edit scientific reports, papers, abstracts, and grants.
• Maintain currency in the field through continuing education and seminars.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
