Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Li Lab in Charleston, SC seeks postdoctoral fellows to study neuron-glia interactions focusing on oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs) and their synaptic communication with neurons. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead conception, design, and execution of innovative projects on neuron-glia interactions in zebrafish.
• Analyze imaging and molecular datasets; prepare figures and manuscripts for publication.
• Develop and implement novel experimental tools for studying neuron-OPC synapses and activity-dependent myelination.
• Mentor students and contribute to collaborative projects within MUSC.
• Maintain an organized, compliant laboratory environment and participate in protocol development.
