As a postdoctoral fellow, you will play a critical role in generating and fostering a cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research environment that serves to advance medical knowledge daily. Postdoctoral fellows gain research experience by working side-by-side with world-renowned physicians and scientists who are answering fundamental questions related to human conditions, disorders and disease. Appointment as a postdoctoral fellow at Mount Sinai is extended only to individuals with doctoral degrees who seek to enhance their research experience under the mentorship of a faculty member (Principal Investigator, PI). This is a "trainee" position, and is not a faculty position. A background or interest in microbiology, virology, and immunology is preferred.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $72500 - $80000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
