Job summary

Jefferson Health’s Memory and Perception Laboratory at JMRRI in Elkins Park, PA invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. The position supports 1–2 fully funded years, starting immediately, under Dr. Persichetti.

Candidates should have or expect a Ph.D. by Fall 2026 and a strong fMRI research background. The fellow will use high-resolution 7T imaging and layer-fMRI to explore feedforward and feedback processing across cortical layers, contributing to an expanding field while

Qualifications

• Must hold a PhD or anticipate by Fall 2026.
• Strong track record using fMRI to answer cognitive neuroscience questions.
• Background in MR physics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-resolution imaging experiments using 7T MRI.
• Develop an independent research program.
• Collaborate with the lab on layer-specific cortical processing studies.
• Contribute to related behavioral and TMS experiments as time permits.
