Job summary

The Memory and Perception Laboratory at the Jefferson Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute (JMRRI) in Elkins Park, PA invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow starting immediately. The fellow will use high-resolution 7T imaging and layer-fMRI to study dissociable feedforward and feedback information across cortical layers in high-level vision and semantic memory.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required or expected by Fall 2026.
• Experience using fMRI to answer questions related to cognitive neuroscience.
• Background in MR physics desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-resolution 7T imaging and layer-fMRI studies to investigate dissociable feedforward and feedback information across cortical layers.
• Develop an independent research program while contributing to related experiments (behavioral methods, eyetracking, TMS, and conventional BOLD fMRI).
