The Fanning lab (Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women's Hospital) has a postdoctoral fellow position available to study the role of the metabolome in neurodegenerative disease with a specific focus on lipid metabolism, synucleinopathies, and Parkinson's disease using in vitro and in vivo systems.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D., ideally in the areas of biochemistry, protein biology, or lipid metabolism. Applicants should have direct productivity in these fields as shown by peer-reviewed journal publications. Deep experience with cell culture, in vivo models, biochemistry, and molecular biology is essential, and neuronal culture/iPSC experience is advantageous.

The project will require a highly experienced scientist with evidence of productivity and an eye for detail.
