Job summary

The University of Arizona in Tucson invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Cellular & Molecular Medicine. Qualifications

• PhD in a related field such as cardiovascular biology with physiology, biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with human primary cells, multiple cell lines, and host-pathogen systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, coordination, and execution of complex experimental research across multiple laboratories.
• Conduct high-resolution imaging using confocal and super-resolution microscopy; analyze with ImageJ/ Matlab.
• Mentor graduate students and staff scientists; contribute to grants and publications.
• Represent the lab at national and international conferences.
• Develop and refine methodologies to advance intestinal epithelial biology research.
