We are seeking a social and behavioral science postdoctoral fellow in health services research. Health services research is an interdisciplinary field that examines how organizations, social structures, processes, technologies, social factors, and personal behaviors influence access to and quality of care, as well as individual and population physical and mental health outcomes. We encourage applicants from disciplines such as social work, psychology, sociology, public health or related fields, with expertise in at least one methodological approach often employed in health services research (e.g., community engaged research, qualitative methods, quantitative methods, among others).
The postdoctoral fellow will be encouraged to develop an independent research agenda that fits within the areas of focus of collaborative partners, including but not limited to: health services delivery, social drivers of health, implementation science, medical education and healthcare workforce development, integrated behavioral health and primary care, and population health. Findings from this work are expected to advance our understanding of improving health services and delivery of care for patients and populations. Evaluating the success of research obligations will be based on efforts toward publication and grant funding success.
