The Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy invites applications for the Henry Chauncey, Jr. ’57 Postdoctoral Fellowships from junior scholars worldwide. Fellows will pursue research in history of global affairs, international relations, statecraft, and US foreign policy.

Fellows live at Yale for one year, with potential renewal for a second year. They will conduct original research, prepare manuscripts for publication, share office space, and participate in program events and related activities

Qualifications

• PhD completed by start of fellowship (ideally in History or related field).
• Experience in empirical, historical, and/or qualitative methods encouraged.
• Focus on global affairs, security or strategic studies is welcome.

Responsabilités

• Conduct original research and/or prepare manuscripts for publication.
• Engage with Yale's academic community and participate in public activities of the Program.
• May teach on subjects related to the Program’s focus if desired.
