The Furukawa Laboratory is actively seeking a postdoctoral researcher. We explore the molecular underpinnings of neurotransmission, neuroplasticity, and neuron-targeted autoimmunity triggered by cancer. We employ a multidisciplinary approach, integrating structural biology, high-resolution imaging, and electrophysiology. While expertise in cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET), single-particle cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), x-ray crystallography, patch-clamp, slice electrophysiology, or molecular neuroscience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for application.
EDUCATION: Ph.D. degree
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET), single-particle cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), x-ray crystallography, patch-clamp, slice electrophysiology, or molecular neuroscience

The salary range or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
