Job summary

The Mahindra Humanities Center invites applications for four one-year postdoctoral fellowships on the environmental humanities, drawn from any humanistic discipline. Fellows will be in residence at Harvard, participate in seminars, and engage with faculty and graduate students across the region.

Stipends are $70,000 with medical insurance, $2,500 for research support, and $1,500 moving expenses for those not in Greater Boston.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: doctorate completed by 2027-08-01 or after May 2024.
• Open to scholars from all humanistic disciplines.
• In-residence requirement for Harvard environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bi-weekly seminars during both academic semesters.
• Engage with Harvard and regional faculty and graduate students.
• Contribute to Environment Forum programming and center activities.
