Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field as listed in the job posting.
• Strong record of research communication and peer-reviewed publications.
• Experience with quantitative modeling and data systems.
• Programming capabilities in Python, R, SQL, or Julia.

Responsibilities

• Assess resource, infrastructure, and demand requirements of large-scale development, including energy, water, and land use.
• Conduct integrated geospatial analyses for siting and co-location opportunities.
• Build quantitative and economic models to compare development scenarios and project energy demand.
• Develop and maintain databases and data pipelines powering COMPASS research.
• Present research to consortium members and stakeholders; contribute to reports and briefs.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate student researchers.
