It is an onsite laboratory position at our South San Francisco site. To support your research, you will have access to state‑of‑the‑art molecular biology, protein design, protein expression, protein biochemistry, and flow cytometry capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Construct and validate protein libraries for autoantigen profiling
  • Apply generated libraries to profile the binding of complex mixtures of antibodies
  • Interact and collaborate with scientists cross‑functionally, gaining broad exposure to the process of drug discovery
  • Make novel discoveries that contribute to the broader field, disseminating scientific contributions through impactful publications and conference presentations
Basic qualifications
  • Ph D at the time of appointment in molecular biology, chemical biology, biochemistry, or related life science disciplines
Preferred qualifications
  • Demonstration of independent design, execution, and interpretation of experiments and results, as exemplified by a solid publication record with first‑author publication(s)
  • Proven experience in sequence and structure‑based construct design to improve protein expression and high‑efficiency cloning methods
  • Experience with protein library construction, mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and NGS analysis workflows is a plus
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
  • Passion to learn and work collaboratively within a large team of scientists with diverse technical and cultural backgrounds
What you can expect from us

From our competitive benefits to our collaborative culture, we support your professional and personal growth and well‑being. We will work to care for your journey every step of the way.
