Applicants are required to have or receive before their appointment a PhD in a related field.
Ability to do original research in astrophysics
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

Lead an independent research program at the Center for Computational Astrophysics
Collaborate with other Flatiron Institute centers and partners
Develop and share software, mathematical and computational methods
Mentor graduate and undergraduate students as applicable
Organize workshops and seminars to disseminate results
