Virginia Commonwealth University School of Public Health invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join a research program led by Dr. Emily Zimmerman, focusing on community-based participatory research, social drivers of health, and substance use treatment.

The fellow will conduct federally funded research, lead manuscripts, and develop grant applications within a multidisciplinary setting across the School of Public Health and community partners.

Formación

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in public health, epidemiology, psychology, social science, behavioral science, or closely related field
• Research experience in community engagement, CBPR, and underserved populations
• Demonstrated scientific writing expertise with peer-reviewed publications
• Strong research skills in analyzing social, behavioral, clinical, or public health data
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and fostering respectful professional environments

Responsabilidades

• Conduct federally funded research, lead manuscripts, develop grant applications
• Participate in a multidisciplinary research environment across the School of Public Health and community partners
• Receive intensive mentorship for an early-career scientist developing an independent research program
