A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Department of Cancer Systems Imaging.
The position focuses on understanding the roles of metabolism in advanced prostate cancer. The fellow will collaborate with medical oncologists to align laboratory work with current clinical questions to develop new treatments for late-stage disease.
The fellow will learn to research various aspects of endocrinology, pharmacology, signal transduction, metabolism, and cancer biology within the context of developing novel cancer treatments. Additionally, they will work closely with medical oncologists to coordinate laboratory research with clinical questions.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or an equivalent field from an accredited institution, with a strong publication record, by the time of hire.
