The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking postdoctoral fellows to advance cancer epigenomics and single-cell technology development. The Xu Lab investigates regulatory evolution in tumors and epigenetic mechanisms guiding cancer and immune cell behavior.

Postdocs will lead projects, receive mentorship, and present work at conferences; opportunities to contribute to grant applications. Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, Biochemical and Cellular Sciences, Genetics and Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a related field (degree conferred before start).
• Wet-lab: genomics/genetics/multi-omics training; CRISPR experience a plus.
• Dry-lab: multi-omics NGS data analysis experience required.
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated research productivity with at least one publication or preprint.

Responsabilités

• Conduct research in Cancer Epigenomics and single-cell technology development.
• Lead research projects with mentorship and contribute to grant applications when appropriate.
• Present work at international conferences and prepare manuscripts.
