Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to lead and contribute to innovative research at the intersection of biostatistics, statistical learning, causal inference, and artificial intelligence, with applications to large-scale biomedical and population health data. The fellow will be co-supervised by Dr.

Mengling Liu and Dr. Yuyan Wang, and will work with investigators across biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology, and clinical medicine.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Data Science or other quantitative areas.
• Strong statistical knowledge and computational skills; proficiency in R and/or Python required.
• Track record of peer‑reviewed publications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to innovative research at the intersection of biostatistics, statistical learning, causal inference, and AI.
• Collaborate with investigators across biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology and clinical medicine.
• Develop independent research program and pursue first-author publications with grant-writing mentorship.
