Qualifications

• PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field by the time of appointment.
• Strong methodological and computational skills.
• Interest or experience in health-related applications of statistical, data science, ML, or AI methods.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary research teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply novel statistical and computational methods for large-scale biomedical data.
• Explore topics like survival analysis, high-dimensional inference, AI/ML, causal inference, and precision medicine.
• Prepare manuscripts for peer‑reviewed journals and present findings, collaborating with investigators.
• Contribute to teaching graduate courses where appropriate.
