Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design and synthesize nanoparticles targeted to prostate cancer models by functionalization
• Work in vitro using patient-derived prostate cancer biopsies and cell culture experiments
• Perform in vivo testing using animal models to evaluate biodistribution and efficacy/safety of formulations
• Interpret data with advanced methods such as flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, MRI/PET and bioinformatics tools
• Collaborate with team members across chemistry, biology, neurosurgery and engineering
• Write manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, grants and scientific conferences
• Train graduate and undergraduate students in the lab
• Adhere to animal welfare, safety, security and compliance policies
