The lab is seeking an MD or PhD Post-doctoral Associate for appointment in our NIH/NHLBI T32 training grant, entitled "BCM-Respiratory Research Training." This program aims to train postdoctoral or physician-scientists for collaborative research careers in lung related diseases. The Postdoctoral Associate will train under the mentorship of a MD or PhD scientists with research interests in multiple disciplines related to acute or chronic lung diseases. Mentor and a mentoring committee are composed of research faculty at Baylor College of Medicine and the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. The program includes a unique combined curriculum with shared didactic and clinically. T32 training grant requires that trainees must be citizens or a non-citizen national of the United States or have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence by training appointment date.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
