The Postdoctoral Associate performs scientific research and studies under the supervision of managing staff. Moreover, the Post Doctoral Associate promotes institutional recognition through literal contributions to the scientific community.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
Education: Minimum Qualifications Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in Neuroscience, Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Cancer Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field. Demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications. Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of complex biological data. Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience: Experience with rodent models of pain, neuroinflammation, cancer, or gastrointestinal disease.
Experience: Experience with microbiome research, bacterial culture, microbial engineering, or host-microbiome interactions.
Experience: Experience with molecular biology techniques including qPCR, RNA-seq, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry.
Experience: Experience with microbiome sequencing and bioinformatics analyses.
Experience: Familiarity with metabolomics approaches, including LC-MS/MS.
Experience: Experience working with large biological datasets and statistical software (R, Prism, Python, or equivalent).
Experience: Prior experience in gut-brain axis research, neuroimmune signaling, chronic pain, opioid biology, chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, or live biotherapeutic development.
Experience: Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in multidisciplinary research teams.
Experience: Strong publication record and potential for obtaining independent research funding.
