The Center for Drug Discovery ( https://www.bcm.edu/research/centers/drug-discovery) is a strategic research center at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. The lab is looking for a highly self‑motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate with extensive experience in liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS) metabolomics, lipidomics, and drug metabolism. The Postdoctoral Associate will apply advanced MS‑based approaches to study the proteosome and metabolome to characterize our newly created dTAG‑KI animal models and conduct the drug metabolism pharmacokinetics studies. The lab is well‑equipped with Thermos UHPLC‑Q Exactive MS, Orbitrap Exploris™ 120, Thermo Quintus (triple quadruple), and Imaging mass spectrometry (IMS, Bruker timsTOF fleX MALDI‑2). The position provides opportunities for advanced training in mass spectrometry, metabolomics, lipidomics, drug metabolism, toxicology, and imaging mass spectrometry within a collaborative and multidisciplinary research environment. Baylor College of Medicine typically follows similar to the NIH stipulated stipend guidelines for Postdoctoral Associates.
